Our Mission
Our mission is to serve the unique needs of the Hispanic and Latino populations of Salem and its neighboring communities to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each participant.
Our program is designed to help elderly and disabled adults maintain their independent living and avoid moving to a nursing home. Full day medical supervision and assistance with daily activities helps our clients remain in the community. Socializing with peers and participating in our cultural and educational activities improves their emotional and spiritual health. Our multilingual staff provide nursing personal care and social work services, and arrange provision of on-site services by physical, occupational, and speech therapists, physicians, and other health care providers.
Our brand new state of the art 13,000 sq. ft. facility with a gym, game rooms, rest areas, bathing areas, computers and personal treatment areas is open 7 days a week, 363 days a year to offer the widest array of activities under supervision of qualified nursing staff to maintain quality of life of our participants and prevent their institutionalization.

“It was very difficult to understand what my family needed, or what program would suit our needs. The EastPoint staff guided us through the whole process. Before speaking with them, I was confused, had questions and concerns. Reflecting on when we first started, I have no doubt that the staff at EastPoint are the most compassionate and understanding people! My heart goes to you.”

“Since I joined this center, things have been getting better for me. I get to meet more people, I get to learn things, and the staff is really friendly and sweet to the people who come here."

“I recommend the East Point Adult Day Care Center to those that are at home alone and require supervised care during the day. It is a good program that offers social environment and a variety of fun activities while still receiving needed health services. It's a safe place to spend time, rather than to stay at home isolated, or at risk.”
